Terracotta pot for cat lovers DIY

I got these cool shaped pots a few weeks ago and knew they’d be great to use for Autumn and Winter themed décor. So of course you know I just had to add a little feline touch to one of them as it looked a little too plain for my taste. So let’s make a terracotta pot for cat lovers!

Materials needed to make your cat lover’s pot

Guess what?! This one’s so easy you’ll only need a Sharpie (or similar) and your pot. Then all you need to think about it what you’re going to put into it. Will you use it as a planter, a trinket bowl or maybe like me , just throw a load of pinecones in it and call yourself fancy!

Let’s draw some cat faces

Here’s your chance to take a bit of me time. Sit down in front of your favourite TV show of film and enjoy drawing those little cat faces you’re always doodling. Here’s some cat heads I made you can use for inspiration.

How many cats is too many cats?

It’s up to you how many cats you decide on, you could keep to a set pattern or simply add them where you like them. You could even add colour to your designs, too. I have some chalk pens that I use for window decorations at Christmas so I might try those on the other pot.
